The project aims to build a large shopping centre and a large production plant in slightly underdeveloped area of Garibong Dong. Existing commercial area will be redeveloped with Gribong subway staton (line 1, 7). The first objective was that the design should reflect Woorim’s image; assessment of profitability and analysis of commercial sphere were also important. Woorim’s innovative image was symbolised as space image and the functions of flat-type factories and commercial facilities were clearly separated.
