The Olympic Gymnasium, completed 1986, has a special meaning as a memorial for ’88 Olympics. Also, the gymnasium is very special in terms of architectural history as a cable dome structure was used for the first in the world. !5 years after the completion, the roof material and parts of the roof structure have been deteriorated and destroyed. Old interior facilities also needed general replacement and repair & reinforcement works.
